  • Piazza dei Cavalieri as part central historic Santa María de Pisa, Piazza dei Cavalieri is a destination must for anyone who feel fascination by the rich and interesting history of the city. The Renaissance style of the square, along with the façades of the Church of San Esteban de los Caballeros, the Carovana Palace and the Palace of the clock, made one of the most picturesque destinations of city square. The Piazza is named in honor of the order of the Knights of San Stefano, a religious and military order. For centuries, this spacious square served as a political centre of Pisa. In the century XVI the famous architect Italian Giorgio Vasari was the responsible of redesign the Piazza.

  • There is not only the leaning tower in Pisa. This large square, surrounded by beautiful medieval buildings I remember, tells of his past glory and manages to get excited.

  • A very nice square with splendid buildings ranging from "normal" to the building known for the sad end of count Ugolino. A story intense story that fascinates all tourists. It is a paradox that there are roads that traffic in the city but in a square like this you're admiring a building and you feel driblare by machinery crossing haphazardly.
