  • I didn't think it was so beautiful and interesting and my wonder was confirmed by the comments of other visitors admiring the beautiful and unique works, especially those of medieval art that make it one of the most important museums in Europe. Fulfilling for the eyes and the spirit see the paintings of Fra Angelico, Gentile da Fabriano. Masaccio, Ghirlandaio, marble sculptures and other collections. Special attention deserve the Polyptych of Santa Caterina di Simone Martini, shining after the recent restoration. of the approximately 1320, which marked an epoch and benchmark; the marble sculpture of the Madonna del Latte di Andrea Pisano-1350 c.-for movement of the folds of the robes and mantle that envelops the nursing Madonna child; the reliquary of San Lussorio of expressive realism and modernity for young Donatello l. Interesting wooden sculpture wing and do not miss the collection of crosses painted one of the most important in the world. The lack of keepers in the various rooms; no work is minimally protected, pretty much at the mercy of any attacker.

  • A hiden gem. Make time for it !
  • Medieval art lovers should not miss. Excellent collection of crosses painted Islamic ceramics and collection that adorned the facades of churches. Unique pieces the Madonna del latte and San Lussorio of Donatello.

  • Museum with a rich collection of medieval art of Pisa and not only unique pieces. The only flaw, and not just, is to be able to find it open at certain times of the year and hoping also that you do not get sick a keeper or it may close for lack of staff. By the way, the three stars are for the other two missing for mismanagement.

  • For the side National we revert... masterworks of course but the building is not the height of his ambition and could frighten some... However a good experience and a good discovery

  • Pisa is not only the leaning tower, which is actually a Bell Tower. The town's museums provide an unforgettable experience and irreplaceable experience.
