#9 of 174 in Things to do in Pisa
The last work of a noted American pop artist, Murale Tuttomondo di Keith Haring was created in 1989 and presents an image of some 30 prancing men. Painted on the wall of a local church, the mural is probably best observed from a cafe across the street, where you can grab a coffee or sip a cocktail while contemplating this unique work of art. • In many European cities have seen painted by contemporary artists walls of buildings, and in most cases, their works are not spoiled the historic character of its cities, and often decorated and animate the world. Perhaps because performed in a realistic manner. I am not a supporter of alternative art, and graffiti of the American artist Keith Haring, which occupies an entire wall, or rather, the northern façade of the Church of San Antonio, I am quite unimpressed. It is believed that Haring sought to portray a universal harmony, I saw an absolute chaos. One pleases: the Graffiti is in fairly inconspicuous location on a Street adjacent to the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II.

  • I went to 2027 年 8 月. From Pisa Centrale railway station walk 2-is a painted building located just 3 minutes on Keith Haring mural. Pisa in anything, that Keith Haring mural and I stopped by on the way back from the leaning tower of Pisa. Pisa is off the beaten path. To any interested staff is recommended.

  • Being here felt fantastic. It was his very last big artwork and we ALL get the chance to see it anytime. This piece of art is super well preserved and its message will for sure be here forever! If you go to Pisa, this is definitely a must visit.
  • This outdoor wall mural will make you smile. Here's a bit about the meaning: The mural's title is 'Tuttomondo" a word which sums up the artist's constant pursuit of interaction with the public, represented in this case by the yellow figure which is walking or running in the centre of the composition on the same level as a passer-by. The 30 figures in the mural evoke Haring's typical vitality, and his ceaseless creative energy which allowed him to create and leave behind this anthem to life only a few months before his death from AIDS. • Really amazed to see how close this was to the train station in pisa. Only about 100 meters away and you'd never know. The colors are still very vibrant even though he painted it in 1989.
  • Amazing, unique art. You can take really creative photos and there are benches to sit on and admire the work. It wasn't busy at all when I visited maybe because it can be a little confusing to find it as it's a little tucked away - I think it's a hidden gem of Pisa.
  • The painting is beautiful, the location not so much.
