  • The Museum is well laid out, the Guide explained in great detail and anecdotes of the habits and customs of the peoples that lived in that territory from the stone age onwards. Beautiful Etruscan sector with the reconstruction of the face of one of our ancestor. Many of the exhibits are well exposed to the public, beautiful Etruscan jewellery finely machined. Wonderful Silver vase. Not to be missed

  • With my family spent November 2016 bridge by visiting some places in Tuscany with the camper. A stage were the Etruscan tombs of barter. Very good on tour, we didn't see the caves but worth it. Convenient parking for campers. Downside lack of a shuttle to take us in Populonia, because, being on top, you cannot reach it with heavy vehicles because of narrow roads. I don't know if it's for the period out "holiday season" but anyway I would recommend to think about helping tourism all year round.

  • This museum is the perfect addition ... also because in the guided tour of the necropolis at baratti guides will tell of the artifacts found at the necropolis and kept now in the Museum and then becomes a game finding them! Chronological layout and very clear, is a museum by the right size to be visited by children, truly remarkable mosaic marino and the silver amphora (well done the multimedia), air conditioning, even reserved area to breastfeed toddlers, convenient parking, location with spectacular views of the sea and the Spanish Fork, price more than fair (14 euros family ticket become half with parcheocard delivered by visiting the necropolis at baratti).

  • Very well maintained. Rich in history. Friendliness of the staff. Lately is incentivized visits involving children so families with activities (lectures, creating carnival masks ... Of course "themed" Etruscan!).

  • Very nice building and the Museum. Species in combined with the visit of Populonia. Affordable ticket, 6 euros for a museum on two floors full of history.
