  • At the reception there are the nicest people ready to explain you everything. There are multiple paths that require some time, so my suggestion is sensible shoes, don't be in a hurry, want to appreciate the beauty of the place and a bottle of water, especially during summer. The part that I did was the necropolis of the caves. The path is not suitable for those with walking difficulties because uphill in a forest with variable terrain. In any case, if you can do it is just spectacular. Will that I love walking in the Woods, but you begin to see some beautiful plants with explanations from the outset, then the first hints of caves used as tombs. At one point, suddenly appears from a sort of terrace the Gulf of baratti and the most complete structure of these excavations. I felt for a moment, surrounded by woods, Indiana Jones who discovers a treasure. I assure you that the most complete structure of this path, suddenly appears and is beautiful: the stretch to reach it I almost did. On return a series of caves still used in the Tomb until, coming out of the Woods, you feel like you are back in the real world. Super recommended!

  • My wife and I did the final third of this beautiful Archaeological Park in two different days. the first time we went to see how it was structured and we did the easy part, beautiful experience but we realized that the farthest was done with a fresh day. We went back and got the archaeology and landscape demanding two hours walking the beautiful gorgeous. If we did it, my wife and I and doable because we are two polentoni to do really. the third part in 2017
