  • The village is beautifully situated on top of a hill or mountain. Once upon a time you can park the car easily and then continue on foot to the village and castle. The castle does not matter much but ...  more »

  • Something unique from nearly 3000 years ago. The guided tour allows you to enter the ancient tombs. Wow!
  • Populonia is the most known etruscan town close to the sea. It was a port. Here you can visit the tombs, near the beach and into the wood, and the acropolis, on the top of the hill. It is a good option to visit the museum during a break from day spent at the beach of Baratti.
  • Interesting park and very close to a beach
  • Such a great place to see when visiting Tuscany. Surrounded by the nature of the promontory of Populonia and the beach of the Gulf of Baratti, the archaeological park well preserves the ruins or the Etruscans, the ancient inhabitants of Tuscany.
  • A very special place! Take enough time to visit it.
