  • The archaeological site of Populonia Alta is very interesting but in August 2016 was only partially open to visitors. The most interesting were the specifications given by the Guide, an archaeologist who works right there, during the guided tour. I believe, however, that given the brevity of the visit, the price should be reduced.

  • We made a visit to the necropolis (then in Baratti) why the Acropolis of Populonia was practically under restoration. The family ticket (2 + 2) costs 27.20 € instead of 34 € if you show the card of Coop. Beautiful guided tour in San Cerbone. Exciting walk in the Woods to get to the necropolis of the caves. To do absolutely passing by the area.

  • Luck did we visited the Park on a wonderfully clear day! The show that can be enjoyed from the top of the path on the Gulf of Baratti is sensational. The Park is well structured both as signs that as well-signposted paths. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and you will immediately notice the passion they put into their work. The archaeological findings are of great interest and I think even people who are not familiar with the Etruscan history will be fascinated by this place
