  • The Basilica of San Maurizio is situated on the Hill of Pinerolo and is well worth a visit: you can reach it by car, by public transport but also walking (like we did) at the end of a rise of about 20 minutes, sometimes quite challenging, but doable. It is a beautiful Romanesque church dating back to the year 1000, although later in mid 1400, was rebuilt. Inside it looks maybe a little bare, but very collection. Beautiful views of the city, even on a rainy day, like ours. Next to the basilica is the shrine mother of divine grace.

  • The Church of San Maurizio is located on the Hill of Pinerolo. Historic gem mentioned at the end of the year 1000. Adjacent to the Church with its entrance on the courtyard overlooking the sanctuary dedicated to the Madonna dell Grazie. A nice view of the city awaits you and who deserves the displacement.

  • The Church of San Maurizio is situated in a dominant position on the Hill of Pinerolo. Small historic gem mentioned at the end of the year 1000. Adjacent to the Church with the opposite entrance and panoramic forecourt the sanctuary dedicated to the Madonna delle Grazie. For those who come to visit Pinerolo can not miss visiting the basilica. From the Centre of Pinerolo is a few minutes walk into old town.

  • The Church has some beautiful frescoes, also behind there is a very nice little chapel.

  • Basilica di San Maurizio, built prior to 1078 and subsequently enlarged and rebuilt several times. Interesting 15th-century frescoes. From the square in front of the Church beautiful views of Pinerolo and the surrounding plain.
