  • The Museum and the Church are very beautiful and very interesting visit. The Guide, a very nice lady and informed, was pleasant and exhaustive. Must visit if you are around there!

  • A rainy afternoon in the mountains became an interesting anthropological journey. Guided by the stories of a couple of passionate and kind gentlemen visited the rooms of the fortress, the Church and looked perfectly preserved mummies. To reward the passion of those who wanted this little Museum to share with others a valuable treasure of anthropological information, many of which are still being studied.

  • The discovery of a large number of mummies in the forgotten crypt of the Church of Roccapelago helps us to understand how people lived in ancient times in the mountains! Proloco di Rocca organizes a visit exciting places and meeting again with the enthusiasm of volunteers! Really a great thing that deserves growth and success

  • A truly wonderful place to visit, we have taken many people on our tours to here.
  • Amazing.
  • Perhaps it is little noticed but the discovery of this medieval "borgo" with its "mummies" was a bonus. The Museum is run by a small Association made up of people very competent and likeable. Listen to the stories behind every exhibit found during the renovation of the Church is fascinating. Highly recommended.

  • Is something really exceptional. The serendipitous discovery during the work on the Church, has allowed many scholars have traced these findings, I believe, never with other events. Run by an association, you can visit for free, testing times and days before, with volunteers very knowledgeable and courteous that illustrate the history of Roccapelago and accompany us in the path, wondering at the end only a free offer for You can manage and continuously improve the entire hotel. Having gone many times to visit with relatives and friends who didn't know him, I confirm the continuous improvements made since the beginning of the find. All (they say) is not managed and funded by the State.

  • On the ruins of an ancient castle turned into a parish church, the Museum contains both the historical part tied to the vicissitudes of Obizzo from Montegarullo than on finds of mummified bodies under the floor of the Church once used as a cemetery. It is open on Saturdays and Sundays alternately you need an appointment. The mountain is particularly beautiful. The guides are available and very prepared.
