Parco Sculture Del Chianti, Pievasciata

(4.7/5 based on 140+ reviews on the web)
Parco Sculture Del Chianti features a permanent exhibit of about 20 site-specific sculptures designed to work within this pleasant outdoor space. Located within an oak wood a short drive out of Siena, the park takes up about 7 hectares (17 acres) and displays works of artists from around the world. The sculptures include a range of materials--some utilize classic choices like granite and marble, while others use neon lights and sounds to interact with the spectators. In the warmer months, you can attend a concert at the park's amphitheaters. Before you visit, it's a good idea to download the park app (available on Google Play and Apple Store), which acts as a multimedia guide through the exhibit. • I've heard of are of Siena Chianti sculpture park from my co-workers, I never got to see it. On a beautiful sunny day in December I decided alone to go for a walk in this park. I took the audio guide at the ticket office, explains perfectly all works created within the Park, it was a pleasant discovery the Park deserves to be visited. The owner very nice made me visit the furnace and art gallery. Along the way back to Siena meet some works along the way.

  • Get a sunny afternoon, get the urge to go for a walk in the Woods, take the desire to satisfy not only the body but also the spirit ... the answer is the Chianti sculpture park. We were lucky enough to visit it alone and it was really good. The owner is really nice and justifiably proud. A nice way to introduce children to the arts. Finally the art gallery is also worth a visit.

  • We visited the Park on a beautiful afternoon in December. We were greeted by the owner who drove us to the entrance of the Park providing us with the instructions for use. The walk was pleasant, the Park resembles an imaginary place a sort of enchanted garden where nature beautiful artworks while not amazing to fit and complement each other very well. Eventually we visited, accompanied by friendly Lady owner structure (a former Brickyard) in which there is the Welcome Centre and an exhibition of works of art, an example of industrial architecture very interesting and agreeable very well maintained by their owners.

  • Brilliant park full of sculptures with a path through that takes you around each one in turn. Download the app which explains a bit about each one as you go. Was very quiet when we went which was really nice
  • This was well worth the effort to find it. We visited a few years ago and from the pictures there have been some interesting pieces added.
