  • The Palace is located in the main square of the city of Pienza (old Corsignano). The Palace has long been the place where lived the Piccolomini family. It is possible to make a guided tour groups leaving at scheduled times. Please note that visitors who make up the group are collected inside the building on the ground floor. Every visitor provides an audio guide that describes in detail the various furnishings placed inside the building. Inside the building, on the ground floor, you can admire a courtyard leading to a large garden where you can admire the beauty of the landscape. The visit lasts less than an hour.

At some points in the facade are visible of coats of arms in stone, gold and silver. A large portal overlooking the square is the main entrance of the building. Inside the building there is a court with a porch supported by stone pillars. The Palace also includes a beautiful garden terrace that offers a unique and unrivalled on the Val d'Orcia.
