  • According to the reviews on here I was almost out of curiosity. Just over 40 km from home an unexpected wonder! We parked the car in the square in front of the Church in Pielungo and we walked by following the directions. You walk down a km, before slightly downhill to a stream where there is also a clearing well used with tables and benches for a possible Park or picnic, then slightly uphill and the view of the castle looks like a mirage. Very nice and impressive, with a large well maintained garden. Unfortunately, the garden is the only thing you can visit ... it would be nice that at least part of the castle was opened to the public for visiting.

  • I don't know the history of the Castle, having seen the pictures on the internet we decided to go and see it up close. Let me start by saying that we got there seemed to be none, however, we have limited ourselves to take some pictures and a tour around it. You can get there easily enough the way it is a mountain road asphalted anyway. The castle is beautiful, well kept, and the whole area is neat and clean. If anyone is in the area well worth going to check it out!!

  • Set in a beautiful tranquil location the Castle is a work of art and craftsmanship, very detailed with easy access. I was lucky enough to stay there and enjoyed a fantastic morning run through the hills opposite! Bellissimo !
  • The Ceconi Castle is located in Pielungo, a small village in the municipality of Vito d'asio in the province of Pordenone. The Ceconi Castle was much liked in the early 19th century by Count Giacomo Ceconi that died in the year 1910 and wanted to be buried in the chapel next to the Castle, in his native Val Nespolaria. The Ceconi Castle is a fine example of neo-Gothic architecture from the eclectic style, with streaks of liberty and medieval and Renaissance tint. Presents battlements and Gothic balconies next to rectangular Windows. The Ceconi Castle is a fairytale castle that is unparalleled definitely in region. Greatly increases its appeal of the complex for its enchanting panoramic position. In the cornice of the castle there are four stone statues representing Dante and Petrarch, Ariosto, Tasso; the five frescoes above the first floor windows depict Stephenson, Time, Irene from Spilimbergo, Leonardo Da Vinci and Victory column. I highly recommend going to check them out.

  • An amazing place beautifully restored, is worth visiting in and around structure. It may seem difficult to achieve but it is definitely worth it, the area is also suitable for walks and relaxing days, especially during the summer

  • Places that I didn't know, it was a wonderful surprise. The Castle and its grounds are kept beautifully, very nice and clean. Surrounded by greenery and nature exudes a delightful silence. Visited in the dead of winter I mean to return in spring summer. I found no difficulty in reaching the Location, ample parking is available nearby and public restrooms.
