  • Small but comprehensive Museum, located in the Centre of the village of Piegaro, pretty and surrounded by nature. A cost more than suitable to visit 4 euros an hour or so passed to imagine the work at high temperature of workers including debris of Crystal and glass creations. Very nice

  • It was a wonderful surprise this glass museum in Piegaro because I wasn't aware that it was working on glass. The environment which is the glass factory of Piegaro is beautiful. The vaulted room and other rooms explain the stages of the production cycle. In the basement a striking emerald green color glass casting makes it clear how was then taken for processing. Documents, daily attendance and high external chimney boards make this truly impressive.

  • Piegaro is a lovely village surrounded by greenery, this is even more surprising, between an alley and others, find themselves faced with this museum housed in the old factory: splendid recovery where the new structures in glass and metal merge with brick and stone architecture of the glassworks! Inside the Museum is very interesting and particularly aimed at families and children, with many explanations and angles for practical experience to do for toddlers: truly amazing, considering it is a Museum of glass and you could, in theory, fear to take us kids! Before you go find out why here we organize many events and workshops and you might, as happened to us, to witness the beautiful glass-making demonstrations
