  • Small but very characteristic, many activities to do in the right season, is gorgeous the upper Valley in the winter: offers many sport activities, restaurants, but also some nightclub. In summer it is to walk in the true sense of the word, in fact the via francigena forks in Susa, for true pilgrims you can go straight from oulx at avigliana with various milestones for sleep. Many packages to be biking the many trails with breathtaking climbs throughout the Valley, surely the most spectacular is the one that leads up to the sacra di san Michele (must see)

  • The Valley of Susa is the Northwest region that starts the crossing between Italy and France. All decked by the mountains of the Alps and the river Dora Riparia tributary of the Po River.

  • The Susa Valley preserve natural views that are worth a visit. This time we chose to visit the Refuge Amprimo; to achieve this there are two possibilities: we opted for Bussoleno. Leaving the highway to the Frejus motorway, exit at Bussoleno and we head on Hwy 24, here, you take the junction (easy to find, since just before the cemetery) for Baroni: ten kilometres and often very winding road dirt road until you reach a clearing of parking. From here you climb to a mule for about fifteen minutes and you reach the Pian Cervetto (a handful of houses) for a short break and then climb to the hut Amprimo which is about twenty minutes walk (less cumbersome previous tract). The refuge, established in 1937 and renovated several times, offers fifty beds and a restaurant with local specialities. But, above all, in front of the refuge stretches a vast plateau to unwind and enjoy the sunny day surrounded by silence and peace. A walk at all challenging but full of pleasant moments.
