This time we chose to visit the Refuge Amprimo; to achieve this there are two possibilities: we opted for Bussoleno. Leaving the highway to the Frejus motorway, exit at Bussoleno and we head on Hwy 24, here, you take the junction (easy to find, since just before the cemetery) for Baroni: ten kilometres and often very winding road dirt road until you reach a clearing of parking. From here you climb to a mule for about fifteen minutes and you reach the Pian Cervetto (a handful of houses) for a short break and then climb to the hut Amprimo which is about twenty minutes walk (less cumbersome previous tract). The refuge, established in 1937 and renovated several times, offers fifty beds and a restaurant with local specialities. But, above all, in front of the refuge stretches a vast plateau to unwind and enjoy the sunny day surrounded by silence and peace. A walk at all challenging but full of pleasant moments.show original
