  • The castle of Lagnasco (whose exact name is Tapparelli D'azeglio) occurs at present by highlighting the inevitable wear and tear which occurred over the centuries. I have to admit that there is a good will in carrying out renovations, which if they continue like this, over time (I think we need to talk about years), will lead to a good appreciation of the entire complex with retrieving this heritage of Piedmont. Curious arrangement of antique rooms (almost all with fireplaces (decorated or not) where you can admire Ancient frescos by fantasy. The castle was used for exhibition of painting exhibitions and possibly bigger salons to organize lunches with catering. I was personally affected by the presence of the young staff at the facility where the Guide gave a good cognitive explanation in a very polite and discreet. I would recommend it for visiting lovers of very ancient things.

  • A few kilometres from Saluzzo, Lagnasco Castle surrounded by orchards is a nice example of Piedmontese architecture, unfortunately it is not valued as it deserves,

  • We love the Piedmont, la Granda in particular and thrills us know gradually the many beauties: nature, art, history ... and whatnot. The castle is the most recent discovery, the last to capture us and involve us. The stratification of time, which many traces left on its facilities-good or bad-it should be read and heard but foreshadows many other charms, you will join those that have emerged, the smooth progress of the restoration. For the time being we have to "settle" the fascinating grotesque, ornate ceilings, grisailles as lively frescoes. And the availability and kindness of the staff, of course, and we thank them.
