  • Don't stop on the Piediluco Lake but climbs up to Labro and don't regret it. A medieval well maintained where time will stop with you. You can admire the Lake from above by bringing the rock and you lean on a paradise. All you have to do is take a deep breath and close your eyes, the dream will continue.

  • Traveling in Umbria you can not miss the southern part of the region where they await the Marmore falls, Piediluco Lake where the mountains "reflect" on the water, also chosen by the national Canoeing, Narni (Narnia) the medieval town that was the birthplace of the famous condottiero Erasmo Gattamelata and where every year in early may, the ring race with its taverns opened and the underground Narnia to visit or Otricoli with the remnants of its ancient Roman port on the Tiber, where the water gushes out San Gemini and its narrow streets all stone "trample" Walkabout in May during the Flower Festival. I mean "a chest" still to be discovered!

  • Taher was born and developed after the second half of the 19th century thanks to the emergence of important ironworks that were added in the first half of the twentieth century the great chemical poles called "POLYMER". So the small urban centre to the right of the historically Black remained intact, serve as counterpoint, on the left bank of the River, the urban settlements of the villages workers arose spontaneously and messy. This connotation urbanism, gives the city the nickname "Italian Manchester" who then fascist rhetoric will change to "Dynamic City". The process of industrialisation in recent years and the expansion of brownfield sites, is changing the face and the functions of the city and reduce population growth and focusing on historic districts, industrial land and minor centres on antiques of tourist value. Like the famous Marmore falls and the Piediluco Lake. The Waterfall is one of the most unusual and fascinating natural spectacles in Italy described already in Roman times. The frothy white mass of waters accomplishes essentially three jumps for a total of 165metri. The spectacle of the waterfall is accentuated by water mist and ROAR that creates special chromatic effects and Visual AIDS. The waters that feed the waterfall originates from the Lake of Piediluco across the Velino River which was then canalized and diverted in Roman times. The Lake has a very irregular shape which makes it completely different from the Lakes of volcanic origin are usually roundish because Italy Center. Its form is very similar to mountain lakes and this makes it charming and appealing. From the Lake you can see Mount Terminillo which with its imposing rock massif from which they descend then charming villages like Labro colonized literally from the Flemish tourism. In short a trip around here is a tour of mainly historical excursions in nature but also connotations ancient Medieval Black River Valley without neglecting the aspect with the famous Truffle of Scheggino and delights of the pork processing.
