  • A beautiful, historic piazza with lots of activities going on throughout the week - night market, concerts, and on a day we were there, a half marathon.  more »
  • This is one of Piacenza's main piazzas. It is lovely, and if you happen to be there on a weekend, after dinner the bars around the area are filled with people having fun and unwinding.  more »

  • The central square of Piacenza, with the 700-years old city council building ("Palazzo gotico") and the two horse statues that give the name to the square, "Piazza Cavalli". Surrounding building complete what is a well preserved historical place, and the sundial clock -- with its meridian line carved in the square itself, gives it a touch of mystery.
  • Almost the only thing you can see in Piacenza city, but it remains so nice specially the two horses of Farnese
  • This is an interesting square in central Piacenza. The statues of the horses are magnificent, full of life. It's worth spending some time looking around the bases of them too, as they bear interesting and varied reliefs.
  • This is the central square of Piacenza with a nice Gothic building on one side and other buildings mainly from the XIX century on the remaining sides. There is also a fascist building with a tower that could offer a nice view on the city if it were open!
  • Italian pizza what more can I say these guys do it properly
