  • A complex of activities, exhibitions and offices housed in this magnificent Palace of the Farnese family. This time I got a visit to Guercino (temporary exhibition until 4/6), interesting although limited to about 30 works. With the same ticket you enter the Cathedral to see the frescoes of the same master.

  • On the occasion of the exhibition, with which you can visit the dome of the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta (reservation required), Musei Civici di Palazzo Farnese was collected and exhibited works by Guercino (Giovanni Francesco Barbieri) from different places, where usually. Large canvases with a religious background (the period is between 1610 and 1650), including an excellent Susanna and the elders and many other wonders.

  • The exhibition on Guercino in Bologna offers more than twenty works by the artist and can be linked to the visit of the frescoes in the Duomo. The exhibited works, between the sacred and the profane, are of great interest and value as they provide insight into the evolution of the style of this master of 1600. I have heard however, the lack of audio-guide. It was possible to fit into groups, but there were too many people together and the voices of several guides overlapped together to create considerable difficulties.

  • Very interesting palace with valuable works of art and we'll made guides to help you interpret what you see. Plus the staff is very welcoming and kind!
  • For those visiting Piacenza or piacentini themselves is to visit absolutely! notable is the Etruscan liver (did you study in art history texts!) and the ' round ' Botticelli. All great, check it out!

  • The different sections have unique works. Perhaps lacking a detailed explanation of the individual works

  • Proud and unknown to most people. Deserve a full day of sightseeing. Don't miss the famous liver and the collection of carriages. Only the building itself is amazing

  • One of the best monuments of the city. There are several museums, including the one of the carriages, armor. There are several our temporary. An archaeological piece of excellence is the liver.
