  • The basilica of Sant'Antonino, patron of Piacenza, is an example of Romanesque architecture very well preserved. The first evidence is from the 4th century, commissioned by Bishop Victor. Over time has undergone extensions and retains the styles of various eras crossed. Impressive octagonal tower, which originally had three orders of mullioned Windows, the first two closed in 16th century to give it more stability, a period which was also replaced the roof with trusses in Gothic style. In the following centuries there were also Baroque additions. A church by the small spaces in which one breathes a sense of old familiar.

  • The beauty of the monumental Basilica worth a visit, in the very centre of the city. In its shadow, you can enjoy a cup of delicious coffee and then go shopping on the VIA XX Settembre, where ever there are any sales;)
