  • For the lower area of Abruzzo, I think is one of the most evocative Pescocostanzo to visit. The old town is wonderful, because it has been able to leave intact the most distinctive architectural elements of 1500, so when you walk in the beautiful town center, feels like stepping back in time. Very well organized the information section, with signs at every corner quite comprehensive. The country is made up of 4 "arms", being a quadrilateral that lets you explore the perimeter of the village without having great difficulty: just follow the white and black alternating cusps on the pavement to understand where and when to turn. It's a village also famous for flowers, although we haven't found on the doors of doors even a decoration that they said are at other times. To visit the workshops of gold, sweets and handicrafts (especially iron and wood). If you happen into the area, it's well worth a detour (ache because for a quiet walk, without dwelling on the Museum or elsewhere, travel time is at most a few hours)

  • I was impressed by the care and beauty of this place. Everything is studied in every detail, from the cobbled stone streets and cobblestones, houses, palaces and churches including the beautiful basilica of Santa Maria Del Colle. I recommend it to all people of good taste.

  • Nice village with narrow streets, houses and small palaces maintained very well and that winter snow makes romantic and spectacular. To visit or even stay there.
