  • In 1422 Filippo Visconti, Duke of Milan, gave faculty to Borromeo to transform this rural complex into a fortress. Between 1448 and 1450, Francesco Sforza was strategic headquarters during military operations for the conquest of the Duchy of Milan. France's King Louis XII was hosted here. You can visit just a few days a year by booking on the site.

  • A small village with its castle in the middle. Just outside Milan, a place to visit by bike or motorbike. I recommend it.
