(4.5/5 based on 1,400+ reviews on the web)
Take in the whitewashed houses and Cobblestone streets of Peschici centro storico. Walk through the ancient entrance to the city center, and venture through the small lanes lined by local medieval buildings. Stop and try the local specialty, the paposcia, or enter one of the many souvenir shops. The medieval castle was built to protect the Gargano coast from pirates. Perched on the cliff above the coast, the castle will give you a view of the entire village. • The historical center is very beautiful. Small village of white-dressed, get lost in the alleys! If you pass on the Italian gargan, to do.

  • I will just review the port of Peschici because the town, previously reviewed by other travelers, reached levels of uniqueness in terms of appreciation! What about this port? Impressive!! One must go back to the second half of the 1,200 to discover the characteristics and the activities related to trade present at that time. Given the proximity of the forests that supplied timber in the harbour were built boats and warships, creating a real boatyard. Venice had very strong ties with the city's Venetian charts Peschici, and cite the presence of the port of Peschici. In the 14th century. built in the Marina a lighthouse to defend the coast from the incursions of the Byzantines. Nowadays the Marina is a beautiful touristic and marinara with wonderful walks, where the sunset light goes out and breaks on the billows. Here, it is not unusual to see "PEPITO" rescue that Grandmaster, with its long and groomed beard, offers sympathy for intense moments of pure pleasure! As well as it was gratifying the chance encounter with the artist Michele Mangano, world famous singer-songwriter garganico which I attach some pictures.
