Bridge Tourist Spot
Ponte del Mare, a pedestrian and bicycle bridge, measures 466 m (1,528 ft) long. This makes it the largest such bridge in Italy, and one of the largest in Europe. It connects the northern bank of the Pescara river to the southern one. The views from the bridge impress visitors, and the lights at night sparkle. The southern bank contains few sites for tourists, so you may just want to return after crossing. Put Ponte del Mare at the forefront of your travel plans using our Pescara trip itinerary planner.

  • Great way to connect the two sides of the beach promenade. Great also for a view over the city and with a clear view even on the mountains.
  • Great place to view the beaches and surrounding area of Pescera. The bridge is an impressive bit of architecture.
