Ponte del Mare, a pedestrian and bicycle bridge, measures 466 m (1,528 ft) long. This makes it the largest such bridge in Italy, and one of the largest in Europe. It connects the northern bank of the Pescara river to the southern one. The views from the bridge impress visitors, and the lights at night sparkle. The southern bank contains few sites for tourists, so you may just want to return after crossing. Put Ponte del Mare at the forefront of your travel plans using our Pescara trip itinerary planner.

  • Well worth a visit!! Although a little windy it was well worth the slight incline of a walk to look across the view of the sea.
  • Cycle track and footpath are separated, useful for walking biking or evening stroll.

  • But not exciting. Miss entertainment something that gives you the most exciting. Beyond the bridge there is a Ferris wheel and disappointing. A bridge for the pure passage.

  • Nice, futuristic ... But it's not every bike if you are not well trained. Too steep for a normal user. Let alone those who are forced to move around in a wheelchair.

  • Beautiful place for walking or biking and also do some shooting at the panorama.
