Ponte del Mare, Pescara
(4.5/5 based on 1,000+ reviews on the web)
Ponte del Mare, a pedestrian and bicycle bridge, measures 466 m (1,528 ft) long. This makes it the largest such bridge in Italy, and one of the largest in Europe. It connects the northern bank of the Pescara river to the southern one. The views from the bridge impress visitors, and the lights at night sparkle. The southern bank contains few sites for tourists, so you may just want to return after crossing. Put Ponte del Mare at the forefront of your travel plans using our Pescara trip itinerary planner.

  • A beautiful bridge, it's worth going through, not only by sight, but the bridge itself is cool, can be a little tiring because it is a kind of ramp.

  • It's a different bridge, cute and with a modern look. The bridge itself is not a big deal, this differential in vision that gives you, the sea, the town and the mountains. Worth the visit.

  • A nice place to be in Pescara.
  • beautiful view
  • Bellissimo
  • As Paris has the Eiffel Tower, New York has the statue of liberty, Pescara has its bridge of the sea. Located at the north end of the promenade is well worth visiting both day and night. On sunny days you can enjoy the mountains, a landscape typical of the Abruzzo where sea and mountains are separated only by rolling hills.

  • Now a sign of identity of Pescara that citizens are proud. Modern and bold from which to enjoy great views. Unfortunately it's portion of the bike path Adriatic Corridor, realized only in part.
