  • A vacation from work Monday, I decided to visit this museum. Pros: full of awesomeness, feels like stepping into another world, when man was way into civilization and, especially women, were working hard their lives between farm work and care of children. Very interesting history about Abruzzo, clear and didactically useful. In the Museum was brought to the temporary exhibition "points of view" dedicated to Luciano Ventrone, a genius discovered only now. Very active in the educational section, I met a teacher who has not the slightest bother my path. Admission costs 6 careful visit in at least an hour and a half; staff extremely helpful and friendly. Cons: are Pescara, but I had trouble finding this site, I imagine tourists or people passing by; confined spaces, many ideas and materials too close together for optimal viewing; unique visitor, I hope just because be a Monday morning. This "Pearl" would be absolutely advertised everywhere in Pescara and deserves the time, looks like a happy discovery in a context which unfortunately enhances mainly football, clothing, food and cult of exteriority. I go back for another visit, to explore the House of D'Annunzio, right next door.

  • well-organized display of historical objects of common use and that proposes a framework previously unreleased in the life of our ancestors

  • Genti d'Abruzzo Museum should be known and visited by all of Abruzzo. Ethno-anthropological museum which tells the story of the territory and its people through very interesting findings. The most innovative aspect of this museum is its combination of history and modernity: the collection of historical artifacts such as prehistoric tools, has a permanent collection of photographs from the early ' 900 telling Abruzzo through very intense images. And if that's not enough are opened exhibitions of contemporary artists. This museum is worth a visit in Pescara.
