  • it is beautiful place, people are very kind and beautiful. hard working people and farmers. love the beautiful environment and the hills
  • Is a really nice place to see not only the home of the Poet, but especially to visit exhibitions and initiatives.

  • Not always the homes of great authors, or as if they have preserved or exhumed (sen on reinvented ...), maintain that a visitor likes it (it does for example the abode of Arquà Petrarca, but unfortunately by Verga, Catania, etc.). But the case Abruzzo is really respectable D'Annunzio, considering that his hometown the writer lived in fact, nor all the time, only the youth. It starts right from the site: "corso Manthoné" is a way of old town fortunately immune from car chaos that deadens the new part of the capital, and gives good suggestion of life of 150 years ago, thanks to an "ancient" ineffable headwear shop opposite the Bay. A beautiful view of fans borrowed from Eagle Museum space on the ground floor reserved for temporary exhibitions put already in very good inclination. D'Annunzio spaces are crisp, well preserved, accurate, treated with respectful loving, well documented at the level of captions, accompanied by a video definitely appropriate and very happy as a poet with textual anthology of autobiographical reminiscences. You do not necessarily have to be fanatical D'Annunzio to enjoy the nice visit, can be completed with a parade of antique villas referred to the poet's beachfront, the beautiful Pescara "pineta dannunziana" and, while he, at his Hermitage of San Vito Chietino with the suggestions of the tomb of Barbarella and riva dei Trabocchi. Del Parrozzo and pastry D'Amico-absit iniuria ...-I said! Sin missing a catalog or at least, if not some direct documentation volume, at least one possible choice (which would also be profitable for the managing body ...) of D'Annunzio, now works also in excellent accessibilissime ecnonocmiche editions, and all of his biographies (at least the wonderful Oscar by Piero Chiara, outsells galore!)
