  • The Cathedral is located next to the river Pescara, approximately half a kilometre from the "dual" of the bridge. He looks svezheotrestavrirovannym, simple, classic katalicheskom style and does not make a Grand impression. However, demand from local: there were quite a lot of people..

  • Church rebuilt less than a hundred years ago in classic style, demolishing the historic church of san Cetteo. Remarkable painting by Guercino donated by D'annunzio and placed beside the chapel where the poet's mother is buried.

  • Pescara Cathedral was built in the 1930s, mainly to please the poet Gabriele D'Annunzio who, in the left aisle, made you bury your mother! The Romanesque façade is nice, but if you think that is an imitation made in the 1930s, has a fake annoying (at least me). Even the Interior has nothing special, if not the burial of the mother of the Poet, accompanied by the usual highfalutin phrases written by the poet. Near this tomb has hung a picture of particular value, representing St. Francis by Guercino, painting donated by D'Annunzio himself.
