  • I am spellbound before the portrait of the suit of Raffaelo, but everything is exposed in the Ducal Palace and the Palace itself, leave you speechless!

  • I understand that as the seat of the Prefecture, access may be just to "apputnamento" and "guided tour". As a policewoman at the entrance was courteous, I don't think it's his work give information about, and then at least an information panel would do well to put it. However the façade, the entrance, and the courtyard that the COP she let us see, deserve. Maybe there will be another chance.

  • Current headquarters of the Prefecture, you can then visit by guided tour only, but not individually. Built by the architect (but Venetian citizen since at that time the Dalmatia was the land of the so-called ' Schiavoni and possession of the Serenissima) Luciano Laurana who is also author of the nearby rocca Costanza. When Pesaro was under the rule of the Sforza family, seems to have stayed for one night even Lucrezia Borgia, daughter of Pope Alexander VI, as the wife of Giovanni Sforza. The Ducal Palace overlooks the lovely piazza del popolo, the city centre and ancient place where was located the Roman hole Pisaurum. The square is embellished with a beautiful fountain in the middle and bounded by the post office and the Town Hall. All this makes the downtown Pesaro really pleasant for a stroll, not least because the square-at times-it is also a place for fairs and flea markets (especially Christmas) if it weren't for a phenomenon common to many Italian cities and of what the phenomenon most Italians are beginning to be fed up with ..... I am referring to the increasingly numerous hosts of individuals (young!) going wandering asking (some with insistence to the limit of endurance ...) for alms. Since it is precisely in the square and so it's impossible! not see, I wonder then if the Government is aware of this situation and what it intends to do ... ... personally I don't know the names of the members of the City Government, also because I am not interested and do not want to remotely interested in politics (I'm a student of art and Antiquities) but if this is welcome ... ... Frankly, on the one hand, it sucks to see someone begging, because evidently was born unlucky and ... somebody up there seems to have forgotten him (but I too have been forgotten by that gentleman over there that I was left fatherless in 13 years) on the other hand this individuals are all young and physically strong (I don't see any of emaciated starvation due to wars as someone wants us administer Alright Christian charity, but the passage for suckers ever!!) and almost everyone has a smartphone with headset and I assume its connection to the internet. Now even a Pygmy you would ask: if they don't have the money to eat ... who pays for the mobile phone and the internet?? I wish they were not the usual 35 euro per day each (someone says they don't exist because they give them, others say Yes ..... go figure what it's true!) but still not a nice to see young people that could surely going to do some heavy lifting (all right, but if they don't make young people that work who makes them????) loiter around the town and its old town. And then the controls! There are? who are these people? one who pays taxes is entitled to ask, yes or no? or we face over time ... at what just a few days ago was coming to Rialto Bridge in Venice? is it possible that those responsible don't ask certain questions? I followed up with tears in my eyes nice and Berlin attacks, because right on the waterfront of the city that gave birth to Garibaldi and in Berlin, near the site of the crime I was years ago, just walking around like those poor wretches who have left us (when all there was ... and I'm not talking about the time of the Punic Wars) and I always put a question , to which no one could give me an answer so far: why some categories and their loved ones, near and far, are not ever to go to places where you jump in the air or you are run over by a truck nuts?
