  • Our plan was to visit the Museum. We were the only guests in the cash area. Unfortunately the Lady at the ticket office was on the phone constantly. She has indeed perceived us and indicates that it is the same for us, after 15 minutes, it was too much and we left the spot area unverrichter things.

  • On the first floor of an elegant building, characterized by a sober façade dominated in the Centre by a sumptuous rusticated Portal surmounted by the coat of arms of Moscow, there is a permanent section of the Museum. Exposes, in a chronological path, paintings from the 14th to the 18th century (sacred art and still lifes), ceramics (produced locally), furniture and sculptures: the most famous work is the altarpiece by Giovanni Bellini with the coronation of the Virgin, an absolute masterpiece of the Italian Renaissance, which is dedicated, almost exclusively, the first room. Vale – alone – a visit to the Museum! The works exhibited in the other rooms are, overall, interesting, exciting or not by number or quality; attracted my attention in particular a tondo by Andrea della Robbia, a head of John the Baptist attributed to Marco Zoppo or Giovanni Bellini, a terracotta sculpture depicting the dead Christ (beautiful!). Interesting the work placed on the side of the staircase (a battle of Maxentius on ceramic tiles of the early twentieth century a majolica Pesaro, Ferruccio Mengaroni). It's worth spending some time in exploring the three courts that follow one another on the ground floor of this building, which was partly-turned into condos, the first of them are placed another opera by Mengaroni (a massive jellyfish, which was the cause of death: bella) and a work by a contemporary artist (the eye of Heaven by Eliseo Mattiacci); in the second court was rebuilt the structure of a stage set designed for a work presented some years ago at the Rossini Opera Festival.

  • The altarpiece of the Bellini is clearly the best thing to look at but there are also other works very nice.

  • Incredible, nice museum. Easy to see and interesting
  • The museum is about Pesaro's legacy as a production centre for ceramics. Some interesting pieces on show.
  • You say it's a Roman domus when are 2 cabinets with 3 projectors. Do you expect more? Well, I've seen it and it's an absolute rubbish!

  • Great management! Is becoming the cultural center of the city

  • A little overpriced on ticket. Essential to have before the paper pesaro Cult to get discounts. Collection of ceramics Pandey really enviable.
