  • This impressive church, desecrated the cult and part of a complex that resembles a village is unique. Set on a hill built on ruins of an ancient villa cleaning lab, a "fulling" like Pompeii. In fact the underground water pipes and tanks destined to preserve washes. You may not photograph, but remains in the mind the simplicity of these sandstone walls covered with frescoes that are only partially withstood the challenge of the time. The entrance with the Ark of travertine is a portal on the middle ages. The counter façade shows symbols and stories of the Templars. The visit is worth the ticket price.

  • The former Templar Church of San Bevignate is a bit out of the way, but reachable on foot (a walk) or by bus. The Church is large and contains the remains of frescoes of the temple and once inside you identify immediately in what was their life. The church stands on a follonica, open also. Very nice and impressive. To visit! The only downside, perhaps, the ticket cost is high.

  • It is the second time I visit Perugia and I can't miss a visit to the Temple site of San Bevignate. Every time I see it I discover new details and the site is still largely undiscovered. Unique.
