  • l Palazzo dei Priori is the seat of the municipality of Perugia, the National Gallery of Umbria and the two largest medieval guilds: the Nobile Collegio della Mercanzia and the Nobile Collegio del Cambio. Inside, climbing the staircase you reach the National Gallery, with its huge collection of the most beautiful and significant works of Umbrian art, including some paintings of Perugino, the artist with the purity of the design and the soft feeling of color gave the most felicitous expression of the grace and sweetness of Umbria. We were kidnapped. Wonderful

  • Do not be discouraged. you have to see this building and everything in it. The exterior design says it is built in the Gothic style of the 13-14 century its façade, you'll see a Griffin and a lion, two symbols of the city. The lion symbolizes the Papal power and gryfy of Etruscan times. Can I remind you of the hypogrifa from Harry Potter? Yes it is he. In the building go to the National Gallery, where you will find works by Perugino, works from the Renaissance painters, 13-15.st, the old altars, etc. Art lovers should not miss. In the building there is also a beautiful Hall of the notaries, where it meets the local Parliament. It is incredibly decorated, every millimeter of the walls cover paintings. And cultural events.
