  • It's beautiful old town of Perugia. Sure, there are the most intact (though smaller) even in Umbria. Perugia is a regional capital and it is understandable that failed to keep intact its medieval core. The splendid position allows you to enjoy wonderful views from several points of the old town. I suggest to the Centre on foot; no use getting in the car, which only creates problems for parking. There is a nice system of access to the old town with elevators and escalators. But even walking, climbing for example from corso Cavour, is easy and not tiring reach corso Vannucci, the heart of the old town. In addition to the unmissable unmissable cultural also are must stops to grocery stores in the territory, in particular those of truffles and chocolate ones, the two most typical products of the area. A pretty neat old town tour requires at least half a day (without considering the turnover of monuments).
