  • Perhaps the most important Gallery Perugia. Entry fee, 8 euros, free visit in over 35 halls where anyway different brushes explain the different historical periods. Here you can admire paintings by Perugino, Piero della Francesca, just to name a few. The Gallery also hosts temporary exhibitions.

  • Its great advantage is to focus mainly on paintings from a limited area (Umbria) showing the evolution in 2 centuries from the late-Gothic to Renaissance. This allows us to appreciate and compare many masterpieces by great artists, without the risk of a distracting indigestion. Unmissable Benozzo Gozzoli, Fra Angelico, Piero della Francesca, Perugino, Pinturicchio throughout its evolution, but also lesser known were a welcome discovery. The lighting is almost everywhere very good and allows you to make great photos, in my opinion very useful just to do calmly those comparisons that are an essential complement to the visit. Time and money very well spent!

  • Inside Palazzo dei Priori, take at least one hour to admire one of the most beautiful, but poorly understood art galleries of Italy. To admire the Umbrian centuries masterpieces, where some paintings with bright colors were that leave open-mouthed. Every time I go then, I remain astonished by the colors of "Perugino Pietro Vannucci and the altarpiece by Pinturicchio. Admire the palazzo dei Priori that hosts it, perugina and papal history historic building.

  • This is one of the best art gallery we have ever visited in all our years of travel. The paintings are amazing mainly of a religious nature dating from the 11th century onwards set in 40 rooms, so be prepared to spend at least four hours to see it all. A good tip is to buy the guide book when you buy your tickets, so you can follow the paintings in each room. Don't miss this place if you visit Perugia, you will not be disappointed .
  • Perugia...it's an addictive city! you can stay away from it
  • Very nice. Deserves some time if you love art umbra (especially Christian) from two hundred to eight hundred. Large pad (and works great) from the middle ages to the Renaissance
