  • Unusual beauty, simple but charming. Beautiful three-part façade by thin pilasters, which lead up to the frame Terminal to hanging arches intertwined ... to top off there is a blind Loggia, made with trefoils and Lancet Windows are typical of Romanesque pavese. Exposed brick is the King of this architecture. both externally and internally. Make this church is the presence of a large circle of faithful attending the mass, definitely attracted by the priest who manages to entertain the parishioners with simple languages and engaging songs. I was here for a wedding and a Christening. I must admit that the atmosphere was really cool!!

  • Sin, which is little visited, this beautiful church, outside the old town, in the District of San Lanfranco, easy to get, either through the media or in the car, also from the tangenziale di Pavia, the Church is in a street on closed-end Fund, with easy parking. Nice Interior, late-Romanesque architecture, a Latin cross with a single nave, notable, its frescos, altar, the altar of the Virgin of San Lanfranco, the priest, of Renaissance style, the small cloister and many other masterpieces. Its façade, looks, gabled, with a central Portal Molded, placed on a stone cornice. Talking to people in the Church, very friendly and helpful, giving me various explanations, (important) among other things, they turned on the lights to see even better the beauty of the altar, and remembering, that soon there will be a general restoration.

  • A church very tourist gauntlet at the gates of Pavia where I saw two weddings and a Christening. Really pretty and picturesque with its red bricks.
