  • After a trip to the sanctuary of Tindari and the nearby Greek theater, completing a visit to the Roman Villa of Patti Marina worth attending to understand the presence of this civilization passed in Sicily

  • The entrance ticket maybe is overkill for anyone who is not like me but University deserves to be discovered and appreciated. Also of interest is the overlying cover that protects the villa with its beautiful mosaics. Also a small antiquarium. Unfortunately it is overlooked, but I'm sure our criticism will also improve. PS. the villa is overlooked but people throwing cards and cigarettes is uncivil and this ticket price and sovrintendenza comunale have nothing to do.

  • The villa was held in a very bad state. Missing important interventions of restoration and conservation of the mosaics (some can be glimpsed just and are very damaged). The coverage is awful and disgusting to see. Nothing compared to the Villa of Piazza Armerina or artifacts from Pompeii (to name a few examples).
