  • The Castle and the Hill are very beautiful. Better information on when it is open. Nice also the monumental cemetery and the simeto Valley views

  • Too bad all the way around both abandoned lovely place to be revalued. We couldn't visit it always closed

  • Lucky you ... Finally, after days and days, I managed to get to visit the Norman castle! It is almost never opened and it's a shame, because, although it is empty inside, has a great history. In addition, if you find someone who knows him well, it's interesting to hear what lies behind. There should be more maintenance outside.

  • The Castle from the outside is fascinating, as in I've visited. The external perimeter area however is a mess, missing manhole covers, lids and numerous cracks on the ground ... careful not to break any leg.

  • Is beautiful and offers a 360-degree panorama from Mount Etna to the sea. Also is very nice inside, but to visit you need to call and make a reservation.

  • Simply unique! Deserves better luck and a larger number of visitors, because it contains within it historical and architectural elements of no small importance. The view of Mount Etna and the Simeto is breathtaking, the frescoes in the chapel of St. John are magnificent, but it is all context to make it unique.

  • Closed for refurbishment of the show for months. You can only explore outside.
