Adamello-Presena resort with beautiful equipped trail. We route in a day of August not cold but with uncertain weather and partly cloudy. Apart from the arrival of the gondola paradise, the attack of the trail stays on the right of the pond where there is a small War Memorial having in front of what remains of the Presena Glacier (cai 44). Take a bit of effort between rocks and trail for an hour and a half/two hours or so until Step Castellaccio. From here you must wear a via ferrata set as start ledges and bridges exposed but well served by cable and chain. Then you get to the fateful hanging bridges one of which is really long. If you want you can choose to take a gallery if you don't feel to cross these walkways. You arrive at the bivouac mountain friends surpassing still trails not hard but still challenging. From here you close the ride back to step Presena (arrival of the second section of the cableway) descending towards step Lagoscuro, where you keep right on refuge Mandrone, practically turning the Lake below the slopes of the ridges above always seeing the Lake on the right. Seems near passo Presena but we did struggle to return probably because we're not as well trained! Arrived at the shelter at an altitude of 3060 descend to Tonale with two cable cars. The trail is nice to do but you have to have the utmost caution since there is always at an altitude of 3000 metres. and besides, required the via ferrata kit. There are also variations to extend it to the top Payer or wishing you can challenge themselves in a small stretch of railway track for only experienced just before the runway. You can of course do the route in reverse starting with Step Presena. It took us about 6/7 hours stopping to take some photos and eat a sandwich, so leave early or risk they close the plants. Clearly this is not a guide but a simple review of our excursion.

equipped trail not particularly demanding from a technical point of view but that is to be carried out only with good weather and adequate equipment. breathtaking views that pay off all the work done. better to go during the week because on the weekend can be very crowded.
