  • Arrived on 7 January with-6 in the afternoon and -12 night. Searched futilely for hours a covered and heated garage where the temperature does not fall below zero. No availability. The only "mechanical workshop-garage" offering shelter (surcharge) had no availability because all booked AUDI automaker these days employs many A1 for performances on the frozen lake. Seen so many disaster relief Center with auxiliary batteries, hair dryer to "de" the injectors, glow plugs pipes burned to replace wiper blades and pumps out of action and other inconveniences. Now doubt that from an economic point of view is more remunerative intervene in trouble happened with replacement of various electrical components of the car rather than cashing out the night shelter. I asked many residents where possible hospitalize the local drive where the temperature does not fall below freezing, but I only have been suggested a couple of parking lots that have openings at all levels and therefore without the security to prevent freezing of pipes. Only by accident, after two days of difficult ignition of the engine (although the tank was full of diesel Arctic made the sole distributor of the place with addition then a bottle of antifreeze-20) I found a municipal car park (including free) above the southern entrance of the tunnel that crosses Madonna di Campiglio in a multi-storey building that also houses a trauma center , firemen, civil protection and a cableway station. Parking is on the first and second floors is free (though firefighters ensure that vehicles are duly insured) has many internal partitions that are then external currents barrier, has too many openings and so it's a fair location where repairing the means from the weather and from freezing at night. It is very disconcerting that he had to find alone as none of the place he mentioned. Ski lifts are very well organized, "snow cannons" was well distributed and in ample quantities, guests almost all East European countries while-with amazement-I found few Italians and also few Germans. More than one, talking about this in the restaurants of the stations upstream of the plants, said he has heard that at this time "special" promotions have been reserved for tourists. These joints are numerous and even with so many coach ma...si are carried out below even many instructors of their parts.
