  • The square is in the historical centre of Parma and the Palazzo della Pilotta. It is a large green area with lawn and is the meeting point of many people, mostly immigrants who elected him at their community center. Inside there is the monument to the partisan, who also gave the name to the square, and the monument to Giuseppe Verdi. Some tall plants and a large fountain complete the experience. We go to the old town: worth a look and greater care by the municipal administration.

  • Too bad this is piazzale uncared for and now almost abandoned. Only if we go but honestly you lose nothing.

  • The piazza itself would be beautiful only flaw is that it is frequented mostly by immigrants who are standing at all times.

  • Nice urban grass square. Expect the college crowd, as well as lots of those who dropped out of college (you catch my drift?). Lovely to grab pizza from the shops in via Garibaldi and sit in the grass for lunch.
  • It is a large green space near the Palazzo della Pilotta. If you are lucky you can see it set up to host installations of various artists. Between the Farnese theatre going towards the Cathedral and Baptistery. A central square clean and well exploited.

  • A few trees and some event to exploit this symbolic square for Parma would not hurt

  • Nice and central piazza in the heart of Parma, just brows the Pilotta and host the unique Monument to the partisan. Shame about how often is left to itself.

  • It would be a fantastic garden square, a fabulous makeover of what used to be a gray parking downtown. It would be ... Why is a dustbin in the open air, bottles everywhere, meeting place in some drunks and pusher.
