Where to stay in Parma

Virtually all of the old town center's tourist sites are within easy walking distance of each other, so can explore them by staying either at a hotel in the area or a less expensive inn in one of the nearby residential neighborhoods. Staying close to the town center allows you quick access to the finest shops, restaurants, museums, and galleries. If urban attractions aren't your priority and you have a limited budget, consider staying at a working farm just outside the city.

  • Little gem to visit within the historical centre of Parma. For music fans, and in particular of Opera music, is definitely a must, along with Verdi's birthplace in the province. The people we met during the visit were very courteous and knowledgeable.
