  • This museum covers the history of recorded sound but is also studying and experimenting with sound. Get the (wonderfully informed and helpful) staff to show you the sound-benches and the sound-room. T...  more »
  • Short trip through six niches housed in this church, narrate the evolution of sound and music through technology that has played for over a century. Little gem: the staff at the entrance, at some point in free visit, asked us if we wanted to get into the White House: a small room with a sound system with 189 speakers and other on the ceiling for a dolby surround. Admission is free.

  • An old church turned to a museum of the sound. You will find here old radios, old gramophones and the most modern ones too.  more »
This was a great idea for a museum, beautiful journey through the history of sound. Clearly paid for by the EU, sophisticated sound and visual systems should accompany the tour but everything is switched off and a very unpleasant assistant refuses to switch anything for visitors. Museum of sound without sound, disappointing but a typical example of Italians wasting EU money for good cultural initiatives.
  • The first dpmenica of the month in which the city has plenty of tourism, we found inside the House of sound the absolute silence. Loudspeakers and video guides. We had to explicitly request that were turned on guides and sound shows that lasted 2 minutes with hasty explanations and son memory. Too bad, it would have been much more interesting if explained properly.

  • Museum staff currently with free admission, also easily accessible from the train station. A pleasant journey through the history of sound and music playback devices ... try the white room. Friendly staff, especially Michele, very attentive and prepared. To visit ...
