  • Really lovely space with interesting wall paintings and central font - only went in to escape the rain and was glad that I did!
  • Is an interesting octagon building still being used for baptisms. Although interesting the cathedral next door is spectacular.
  • I am always impressed by this kind of tube-like buildings. The frescoes are well maintained and it's worth it a visit even if it costs 8 euro including the ticket for the Museo Diocesiano
  • Nice baptistery filled with historical paintings. Make sure you spend some time to look around because your ticket is only good for one entrance.
  • A must for anyone going to Parma. The baptistry may not carry the same acclaim as some of it's counterparts in cities like Milan Siena, Florence, Padua etc, which works in its favour because to those who stumble upon it it is an absolute revelation.
