  • Very sad to see this part of the city, let go himself. Sorry about the monument and for what it represents, but I don't recommend a visit. If you really want to go do it with light.

  • It's sort of a big stone on which sides include bronze reliefs depicting scenes from the life of the great composer; place in a corner of the vast square of peace, does not attract immediate attention. Considering the thickness of the artist and what he represented to the city should be more valued, like when he was in front of the train station; try to get a ride on the internet and see the old photos: the current ara was placed in a large space dedicated to it with a semicircle around huge porch that culminated with an arch surmounted by a triumphal chariot drawn by lions, all accompanied by dozens of statues (opera worthy of an emperor, while today many pass and won't even notice this).

  • The monument is very nice. Shame: 1) is in a hidden location. 2) being in a hidden location is frequented and used as "sofa" for non-EU dealers and their customers (Italians). Degradation, dirt, feces and urine stinks I end the work of degradation of what should be a beautiful monument. Points 1 and 2 shall ensure that those few tourists and not talking are well away (it's not hard to see fights or sketches of fights). Green probably is turning in his grave before such human abomination.

  • Monument originally placed near the station. After the second world war it was moved to its current location not so much valued.
