  • Friendly German owner with tasting without an appointment - good wines and grappa!

  • Based on the reviews this fattoria cherry-picked to visit along the Chianti wine route. Nice location, amidst vineyards and olive groves. The welcome is super friendly, in a cooled space by tasting. Explanation in Italian or English was friendly, there is time allocated for answering our interested questions without any pressure with regard to purchases. Both Chianti as own supertuscan-very tasty local wine and otherwise. And the dog deserves a badge of honor as mascot. ...

  • Interesting and informative vineyard tour followed by wine tasting - beautiful red wines and one rose, also with local cheese, olive oil and bread. No pressure from our host to purchase anything...but...  more »
  • This winery was lovely! The wines were fantastic and affordable and the owners friendly, personable and knowledgeable. Definitely worth the trip, we loved our visit!
  • Arrived for wine tasting during opening hours after a long walk. We were seen by the staff at the winery and ignored. Upon ringing the doorbell for wine tastings as instructed by a sign, we were "greeted" by the staff member we saw earlier who answered "yes?". Would have thought it was obvious we were there for wine tasting. She "kindly" suggested that they had a large group of only Italian speaking customers and she was unable to let us tag along. Terrible customer service as we had the intention of spending money on a few bottles of wine. Much nicer and friendlier wineries in the area. Not worth the walk. Avoid.
  • Beautiful! Very friendly atmosphere!
  • I can't even express how perfect this place is, from friendly owners, to Mac the dog! This boutique vineyard is smaller, which in my opinion made the experience all the better! Intimate and beautiful! The walk up, is about 100 km. We did a wine tasting in the cellar. They have traditional and and classic Chianti (make sure you look for the rooster if you go somewhere else) This place is worth it - We went in march during off season and had the place to ourselves. :)
  • This is a small vineyard with some amazing wine, especially for the prize. However, the marker is wrong and the vineyard is located a few streets over on the right side on the way to the town church (200 meters), but also marked in Google. They make the traditional Chianti Classico and Reserva as well as a signature wine called Fontissimo that we enjoyed. Made a good gift as it comes in a nice wooden box.
