Driving good and addictive, even though we were in 4. The rooms are very interesting as the history of the country, on the border between the State of Milan and the Republic of Venice. Less visited and famous Soncino Castle, deserves more publicity. Sin use inside as the site of the local municipal offices and other pol., as well as the library, I am personally opposed to these uses of historic spaces for services that might find venue elsewhere with ease.show original

It is characterized as well by its impressive size, even by an extraordinary cycle of frescoes covering all the walls of the building (even in the stables, now the public library) and that depict a variety of geometric shapes, imitation marble inlays, some human figures and the coats of arms of the Della Scala of Verona, the Visconti of Milan and Savoy (second wife of Bernabò); in some places they retain their original colors. Admission is free with the help of a guide, worth the trip.show original
