  • Circular square in central position in the city. should be valued more, especially by businesses that surround it.

  • Nice and wide square in the middle of Palmanova nonagon. Palmanova starry town built by the Venetians at the end of ' 500 right at the northern border with the Austrian Empire. Border a bit patchy defined by treaty fi Worms. The Venetians built a fortress town in the shape of a star and the message was clear (from here on out we're here). The square at its Center a large area covered with gravel is surrounded by monuments of Palmanova including the Duomo (nothing exceptional) the military museum and some buildings. Picturesque square and beautiful even on Monday, when full of market stalls for the weekly market. If you're in the area also take a nice walk on the ramparts which have been extended several times (most recently with Napoleon). Definitely worth a visit.

  • Great and quiet square. I wasn't sure where I was and all of the locals were helpful. Palmanova and the square are worth seeing.
  • Impressive Piazza in an even more impressive town. This is a must-visit place when you are in Friuli.
  • Looks run down and the traveling circus was in town compounding to the problem...
  • Very impressive.
