  • Palmanova is truly beautiful, well worth a visit, the three beautiful entrance doors are a work of art. The square is wonderful and very large. Your visit to this small town is worth the trip!

  • A Sunday morning together with some friends we wanted to explore the town of Palmanova which we had struck for its history and its composition. It was established in 1593 and planned by the Venetians. It is shaped like a nine-pointed star, with three walls, and three ports of entry along the routes: Cividale-Udine-Aquileia. defensive bastion of the eastern borders of Venice. After viewing the hexagonal central square where stands the imposing duomo we decided to walk the city walls by helping us with the map in the city centre, there are several paths, a very nice walk, relaxing, very interesting to understand the structure of this great military machine. Decadent atmospheres, geometric signs, panoramas photographically significant. One thing we were also intrigued very cuniculi, some are linked together, who travelled to several metres inside the starry spikes. It was a bit of a treat, to be seen at least once!
