  • Unfortunately not having informed before I could only visit the first floor, open today over the 13:00 for an exhibition of antiques and jewelry. The first floor contains some charms, as beautifully frescoed ceilings, but I bitterly regretted not getting organized to visit all this wonderful house (from what I understand, should be open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 09:00 to 13:00). The Park is very nice, spacious, nice and full of rare trees from all over the world. The House, which belonged to the family Whitaker, wealthy entrepreneurs of English origin, was built at the end of ' 800 by architect Ignazio Greco. I know that inside holds authentic treasures and wonderful collections, so I highly recommend you inquire in advance and don't miss to visit.

  • A villa in the country despite being on a fairly busy area of the city. The Interior is not entirely visitable unfortunately but the rooms open to the public are nice furnished and the guides are comprehensive enough. The garden all around is accessible in the morning unlike villa that is not always open and at ways of treasures is crowded with many rows of waiting, but it's worth it. A curiosity: for movie lovers, one side of the garden was filmed the scene from the film "Salu" with Roberto Benigni of dinner by the Minister ... One more reason to go and visit.

  • Interesting testimony of the presence of business English in Sicily, Ingham and Whitaker, and its splendor and riches. The entrepreneur botanioco ornithologist collector has left a legacy that deserves to be visited, both for the uniqueness of objects and furnishings, both for elegance and sophistication. Inquire at the entrance with the interesting story of Joseph Whitaker and marsala Ingham. To see the beautiful grounds, with varieties of plants from around the world (though deserves more care) you will be surprised by rabbits who are strolling.

  • Beautiful garden and very interesting Villa packed with curiosa and antiques.
  • Sensational
  • Perfect example of Sicilian art nouveau. Main rooms on first floor are beautifully preserved and well furnished. Don't miss the solarium upstairs.

  • As soon as he crosses the threshold of this magnificent garden, seems to be in the 19 century. You can imagine a different way of life to think to exist! Seem to hear the voices and see the shadows of their guests from all over the world. Modernity has not eliminated the charm of this place. A must see!!
