  • Located at 1 km from the port of Palermo, is this green oasis overlooking Foro Umberto I. Nice Park filming location for the movie "Marianna Ucria" based on the novel by Dacia Maraini. They lack the rides for the kids, but to make them run on foot or by bike is perfect. Also there is a small pond with turtles and ducks very amiable.

  • What is outstanding about villa Giulia is the location in a very chaotic. This creates a glimmer of greenery where you can relax, take the kids, grab a coffee (at the bar inside the villa). Of the two entrances, the main one on the foro italico's going away, so today it is accessed from via Lincoln. Seal well enough the remember when I was at University and I remember an old lion always dormant and some other animal. The villa has an Italian-style garden and four arcades with niches of neoclassical style. There is also the statue of geniopalermitano among the personalities of palermitani busts Marabitti. Named after the wife of the Spanish Viceroy Guevara.

  • Nice green park to walk around and view sculptures. One of the better parks in Palermo. Lots of nice shade to shelter from the summer sun and cool down. Much better kept than the botanics next door.
  • Very good for a afternoon nap after visited some museums and walks! Peaceful and quiet:) Beautiful!
  • Nice garden
  • Best park in Palermo - Villa Giullia is one of those hidden gems in Palermo. It is very beautiful and peaceful. There are never very many people there even during the peak of summer with all the tourist. There is a really cool sundial in the middle of the park. This thing is the most complex sundial I have ever seen. Other statues around the park are dedicated to famous people from the past of Palermo. The location is a bit out of the way but worth the walk if you have time. For more pictures and information about Palermo check out WhereIsPalermo . com
  • One of the most beautiful villas of Italy. Adjacent to Villa Giulia is the botanical garden that existing species is the most important in Europe
