  • If you go via v. Emanuele from the Cathedral to Piazza Quattro canti, a little short of the four corners of the square, there is another interesting palermianskaja area-Piazza Bologni, named after one of the owners of the House on this square Bologni. At the same time and area tourist and authentic-many locals, including mothers with baby carriages. On the square are several interesting Palazzo, which are now museums (Palazzo Riso, Palazzo Alliata di Villafranca). Luxury in the past Palazzo delle Favare Ugo, damaged by a bomb in 1943, also worthy of attention. In the center of the monument to Charles V of Habsburg dynasty. An interesting personality, combining inherited land in the Netherlands, Spain, Sardinia, Sicily, Naples and others, considered the largest statesman in Europe in the first half of the 6th century, ended his days in a monastery after the abdication.

  • restaurants overlooking outdoors, music and entertainment in the square in the evening, a pleasant way to experience the city in the evening, thanks to the closure of traffic. Who knows what the common face even the effort to recover the wealth of art that are historic buildings ...

  • Square Bologni should be one of the epicenters of any visit to Palermo. When is penalized by having the two most beautiful facades-Palace of Palazzo Alliata di Villafranca-Ugo actually reach and in a State of decay. But don't be fooled by appearances: degraded facades hide beautiful interiors, and those of Palazzo Alliata di Villafranca are open to the public. To increase the value of the place, the beautiful Museum of contemporary art hosted at Palazzo Riso. Vote not up at the time, the remaining will be restored facades will become when making one of the most beautiful squares in square Bologni not only in Palermo.
