  • Still survives as many decades ago, nearly equal, and tells us how it was to be palermo. Quaint, low prices and high quality of meats, fruits and vegetables. There are shops bearing spices and legumes such as in North Africa. Splendid.

  • The Cape is the smallest market, by extension, of the three historical markets of Palermo, covering only the streets of Porta Carini, Beati Paoli and Cappuccinelle, but it is also the most popular: the prices are cheaper than the other two (Vucciria and Ballarò) and also the stalls are less tourist and more traditional. Very easy to reach: or from behind the Cathedral, continuing from Piazza Sett'Angeli square until via Beati Paoli, or from the main entrance of Porta Carini, not far from the Court; the visit is worth it, because during the journey you can visit the monumental Church of the Immaculate Conception.
