  • While we were strolling around Palermo decided to go to the ballaro market to appreciate the food for sale and maybe try some tradition. We strolled by browsing the stalls of fish, guarnitissimi and cheap (20 cm to over sized calamari 10 euro), Moorish spices to suit all tastes, colorful and diverse fruit also ready and cut (we took a plate of melon 1 euro yummy). But in the end we stopped at a street food by eating the bun ca meusa (yummy to 2 euro) and a fantastic caponata dear (10 euro) nn I recommend the meatballs with sardines. As always the people and service are friendly. To try again.

  • I visited the market of Ballaro ' characteristic huge food market, the colors, the arrangement of fruits and vegetables anything particularly appealing. The thing that amazed are very low prices of all goods. Worth making this visit because I believe unique.
