  • At 20 meters from Ziza, coming out of a side gate of the garden is little known even by this Arab-Norman monument of Palermo; seems to have been pre-existing Norman Palace and then transformed into a chapel and connected via a covered walkway, now gone. A fraternity is now based in the building and components lend themselves to act as guides accompany visitors and providing news and curiosity. Not to be missed.

  • The Magione Church, more properly Holy Trinity Basilica of Chancellor because wanted by the Chancellor of the last Norman King of Sicily, was carried out by Islamic workers at the end of 1100, according the Arab-Norman style, it finds the greatest expressions in the Cathedral of Palermo and Monreale Cathedral. The nearby Cistercian cloister, of which very little remains, however, remember in small to Monreale with twin columns and arches.

  • Beautiful monument of Norman, gaunt of decorations but extremely fascinating. Very attractive is also the cloister with columns by capitals decorated, albeit in need of restoration. In a report of the UNESCO Foundation Sicily I read that the monument was excluded from the UNESCO's "Arab-Norman Palermo" because management and action needs infrastructural intervention, I hope you lay soon remedy because it falls fully into the path.
